I learned HTML basics for myself before when tried to make a site for our college. It was learning without a system, piece by piece. Now I added CSS basics and get acquainted to Bootstrap Framework. I also liked the solution is to use Icon Fonts or SVG Icons. Website Layout with Bootstrap looks very useful and easy to use instead of tables. When I tried to make a site before I jumped immediately from HTML to Joomla site engine.
